Cozy Lagunitas Nook

Unique setting next to the San Geronimo Valley Creek. Across a footbridge and next to our happy chickens you will find your cozy little Nook. Situated close to Pt Reyes National Park and other spectacular hiking and biking trails. The space This is a studio in a private hideout in Lagunitas, next to the main house. The property is situated in a gorgeous valley full of redwood trees, flora and fauna. It is separated from the main road by a small creek, with a walking bridge connecting the home to the carport though a password protected gate. Trees, flowers, and ferns populate the yard, bringing in little birds, dragonflies, and frogs. We recently built a pond with lots of fish. Hopefully very soon we'll have some turtles in there as well. The studio has a queen size bed, 2 lounge chairs, a TV, and plenty of closet space. It's equipped with a small kitchenette with a small refrigerator, convection oven, sink, and 2 burners. The bathroom has a fully functional shower. At night you can see the stars from the comfort of the bed through the skylights. Stepping outside the studio, you'll see a lounge area with comfortable blue chairs, and the chicken coop with our hens (all named after famous female singers. We'll introduce you, if you'd like!). Beyond the fire pit is the creek. We have a little island where you can climb down and observe the salmon swim upstream, and the crawdads fight one another for their ladies honor. We are located within a 5 minute drive to Spirit Rock, 30 minutes to Stinson Beach, and about 45 minutes to San Francisco. There are lots of places to go hiking and swimming around here, and it's a great area for biking. As far as media entertainment options, the studio does have a TV with premium cable, and we offer free wifi.
