The cozy two room suite with a private entrance is on 10 acres. Enjoy year round watersports, fishing and hiking, or explore the unique shopping, dining, wineries, breweries and live music this area is known for! Or just kick back and enjoy the nature, wildlife and rescued animals. The space The cozy suite has a living area with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine, a comfy seating and dining area and a piano with lots of music! Smart TVs are located in both rooms with lots of viewing options. The bedroom has a queen bed and the full bath has a walk in shower. Let us know if you need staples like milk for your in room coffee. We are kid friendly and an air mattress is available for a third guest if needed. Your Hosts, Kerrie and Pete live on the property and are available for our guests during their stay. This is NOT a party spot. Your hosts are happy to help you explore the many sights, sounds, dining and adventures in our area, lots of visitor guides and books of local interest are located in the room. For an additional charge, light housekeeping and laundry services are available during your stay. Trail’s End is also an animal rescue (501c3) and a welcoming place for all kinds of critters in need. We work with multiple shelters in the surrounding area to provide a foster home for all types of animals waiting for their forever home. There are always dogs to take for a walk and you never know what else might be on the property from chickens, ducks or, goats to turtles, tortoises, maybe even a donkey, pony or pig! We are members of the Texas Wildlife Association and also work with the Texas Butterfly Ranch to provide habitat for local and migrating species. Parking for guests is clearly marked in front of the breezeway. Behind the breezeway is a small deck where guests can relax and enjoy the animals. Guests are welcome to lounge in the many benches and nooks in the front of the property and children enjoy playing in our little playground. The back deck is under renovation so no access to the back area is allowed at this time. Guests are encouraged to explore the mowed areas of the property. Located in a rural neighborhood, this is NOT a party spot. Safety First! You might have noticed we’re a bit out in the sticks here at Trail’s End, but we want to make sure your visit is as safe as possible. The property is patrolled 24/7 by our highly trained Cat Security Guards, Lil’ Homey and Smokie. Any suspicious activity will be handled immediately We also have security cameras at every entrance on the property. Trail’s End is in a very rustic rural area. That’s a nice way of saying Mother Nature don’t mess around. Guest are welcome to explore the wooded areas of the property. Please be aware that you will encounter all manner of bugs, birds, snakes, spiders, scorpions, bees, wasps, stickers, cactus, razor grass, poison vines, spikey leaves, ankle breaking rocks and tripping stumps, just to name a few. You’ve been warned! Trail’s End is an animal rescue. We have all types of animals waiting for their forever home. All the animals are in secure closures. DO NOT enter any of the enclosures without accompaniment. Most of all, Enjoy your stay!
