Bungalow in Cullingworth

Situated in countryside on the edge of the village of Cullingworth, and with views across the adjacent paddock to the farmland beyond, Littlegarth provides a peaceful retreat for families or small groups of adults who are looking to get away from it all whilst remaining within easy walking distance to the village. A converted stable-block with it's own private entrance and ample parking for three cars, Littlegarth is equally perfect for a weekend away for two or multi-generational trips. The space A modern bungalow recently converted from a former stable block. Littlegarth’s open plan living space comprises a comfy sitting area with large sofa plus easy chair seating six, an internet enabled (40 inch) TV, dining table with chairs and benches, and a fully-equipped kitchen. This light-filled space has windows on three sides, including french doors that open onto the private patio adjacent to our idyllic paddock. Littlegarth is overlooked only by the local sheep! Off the hallway you'll find a double bedroom, a bunk-bed room (Stompa bunk-beds) with and a desk and chair, and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower. Furthermore, the main house bathroom offers a bath plus overhead shower. The south facing patio is an ideal spot for an early cuppa whilst on the lookout for local wildlife (we have visiting hedgehogs, pheasants and owls as well as buzzards and kestrels just to name a few) or something more chilled on a sunny day. BBQ equipment can also be provided. Other things to note Please note that the work desk is located within the bunk bedroom. Child’s travel cot and high chair are available upon request. There is no washing machine on the property but for longer stays we can arrange to do laundry as required using our own washing machine / tumble dryer (we are in the house next door). On rare occasions the farmer may need access to the paddock via the gate from Littlegarth - this shouldn't cause any disruption to your stay, but if possible please avoid blocking the gate when parking.
