First floor of a two-family house with two bedrooms, large open living/dining room, bathroom with shower, private toilet and south/west-facing balcony. We completely renovated our living room and kitchen in the summer of 2020. The sound of the Mallnitzbach accompanies the idyllic mountain world that you find at your doorstep. On the ground floor live Hubert & Gretl, my parents, who will be happy to assist you on arrival and during your stay. The space If you love nature and are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Mallnitz is the starting point of many mountain and ski tours, some of which can be started right at your doorstep. For all others, a hiking taxi is available. Mallnitz is the destination of some long-distance and long-distance hiking trails such as the Tauernhöhenweg or the Alpe Adria Trail. Both go directly past the house. Many hiking and walking trails are well suited for small children. For rainy days there is an indoor swimming pool with a newly renovated sauna or the BIOS National Park Center. The town center with some restaurants, hotels, Billa, etc. is a 20-minute walk away. We are also a member of Alpine Pearls, which guarantees that you can arrive without a car and that the place specializes in conscious, stress-free and sustainable recreation and sustainable travel without a car. On site, shuttle services, hiking & ski buses, taxis, electric cars, bicycles and e-bikes ensure the gentle mobile freedom of movement of guests. Guest & mobility cards offer free use of public transport and complete the service around your holiday in the Alps with environmentally friendly mobility. (URL HIDDEN) Mallnitz has a train station where every train stops, including IC trains. If you travel by plane to Salzburg or Klagenfurt, you can continue to Mallnitz by public transport. Arrival without a car is possible with us. Guest access We have freshly renovated (August 2020). The kitchen is equipped with a filter coffee maker, espresso pot, kettle, toaster, egg cooker and everything you need for cooking. There is a TV, Wi-Fi. Table tennis is available. Other things to note We also use the apartment for our holidays and therefore have some personal things in the apartment. We have left enough space in the cupboards (kitchen) so that you can also unpack ;-) One room is locked, that is the realm of our children and their cuddly toys.
