The cottage is set on 5 acre grounds, & has wifi, ducted air conditioning, open-plan kitchen, spacious lounge & dining room, a workspace w/ PC monitor, 2 bedrooms, bathroom w/ bathtub, laundry & an additional toilet & wash basin. The perfect place if you’re looking for a bright, spacious, well-equipped house surrounded by open space. Enjoy the large sun-drenched verandah, take a stroll around the garden & relax in this country setting. The hosts live in a separate dwelling on the property. The space The cottage… KITCHEN The full-sized kitchen has all the equipment you could need for cooking up a storm. There’s a large breakfast bar with 4 stools and the kitchen has an electric oven & stove, pots, pans, dishwasher, full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, sandwich press, hand blender, serving utensils, cutlery and crockery and a large pantry. A cafetière, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and basic cooking staples are also provided. LOUNGE & DINING ROOM The bright and spacious dining room with a 6 seater dining table and chairs opens up to a very large loungeroom. The lounge room has a TV with Amazon fire stick, coffee table, 4 metre modular sofa with chaise, board games and books, a wood burner fire place and ceiling fan. The perfect place to curl up with a book or just lay back and relax. There is also a dedicated workspace with a desk and PC monitor. BEDROOMS There are two spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom has a bench-seat by the sliding glass doors which open up onto the verandah, a queen size bed, two large wardrobes and a dressing table with two mirrors and ceiling fan. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, built in wardrobes, a tallboy and full-length mirror and ceiling fan. A baby bassinet is also available for use. Please advise if this is required prior to your stay. BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY There is a very large bathroom with shower, toilet, a double wash basin, and large mirror. Soak and relax in the full-size bathtub while the afternoon sun streams through the westerly facing window. The second washroom has a toilet and basin which leads into the laundry where there is a full-size washing machine, an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. VERANDAH and GARDEN From the long north facing verandah, gaze out past the garden to the fruit trees, the neighbouring paddocks, and the gum trees in the distance. The veranda gets sunshine all day long and includes outdoor chairs, a coffee table and a large comfy wicker armchair. There is a BBQ and 6 seater outdoor dining setting by the house, the perfect place for an alfresco meal in a tranquil setting. This charming yet stylish cottage is located in a quiet rural area in a central location to many of Sydney metropolitan’s best attractions. You won’t want to leave this relaxing space… Guest access Keys are provided via lockbox on entry into the property. Other things to note Please note, that the cottage is set on a 5 acre property which is shared with another house that my husband and I reside in.
