You can access the ocean from the beach access at the end of the street or at the Avalon Fishing Pier which is right beside the beach access. The Avalon Fishing Pier offers a great arcade, dining, a bar, fishing and observation walks on the pier! Just across from the Avalon Pier you will find the world famous Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar! Awful's has dining as well as a second floor bar with ocean views and fresh local seafood. Just next to Awful Arthur's is the Awful Arthur's Beach Shop loaded with everything you might need for the beach or take home souvenirs. The primary bedroom is complete with a television + Roku for streaming, king bed and private en suite with shower + dispenser providing body wash/shampoo/conditioner, toilet and vanity. In the primary suite there is also a desk nook for for remote workers. There is also a closet offering hangers. The second bedroom is well equipped to sleep 4 with a queen bed and two single beds (single bed with pull out single trundle bed) There is a television in the room with a Roku for streaming. This bathroom has a private en suite with a shower, toilet and vanity. The living space is very inviting with a most comfortable leather sectional sofa, views through the sliding glass door, a television with Roku for streaming & a coffee table. Take a moment to explore the space, you will find historic surfing décor and awards from generations past. The hand painted local art is just spectacular and offers so much character to the space. The kitchen offers spacious counter tops and cabinets, a full refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, counter top double burner and a counter top convection oven. There is a kitchen oven/stove in this space, but who needs that when you have dining at the pier, Awful Arthur's or Jolly Rogers all right by your side! Your kitchen will be fully stocked with dishes and utensils, along with other kitchen items you may need. There is a large dining table to seat 6. Enjoy the open floor plan from the kitchen into the dining space and right into the living space which then opens from the living space onto the newly built private deck with ocean views! The deck has outdoor seating and stairs that lead into the beautifully sodded back yard. Soft grass between your toes, NO SANDSPURS and you can enjoy a game of corn hole! You will have your own private charcoal park grill for your use (we do not provide the charcoal, don't forget your matches!) There is beach equipment for guests such as chairs, umbrellas and other fun beach items! Need to rinse that sand off your toes? Enjoy use of the outdoor shower specifically for the upstairs guests, just at the base of your stairs. You will have your own private charcoal grill and rinse outdoor shower. There is a picnic table for all guests on the property to use. There is a washer and dryer inside your unit. Guest access You will have complete access to the second level of the home with the exception of a locked owner's closet. You will be allowed up to 2 vehicles and they must be on the right side of the driveway, one behind the other, but not to be parked under the carport/breezeway. Other things to note ★Must be at least 25 years old to book this property★ ★STRICT 6 GUEST MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY★ ★Please DO NOT attempt to remove surf boards from their racks. These are for decoration only. They are not for ANY kind of use. Please they are for your eyes only, no touching! ★There is an oven/stove. There is a large convection oven, toaster and microwave. ★This is the UPstairs of the home, the downstairs has a full time occupant. ★The trundle single bed will be provided with a sheet bundle set, a pillow and a blanket. They are in the dresser. ★There is an occupied suite on the ground level that is not accessible to Airbnb guests. The occupant may or may not be on the property. Please do not disturb the downstairs occupant, if you need anything at all, please reach out to your Airbnb host via the message platform. ★The downstairs was originally the entire home, the home was remodeled adding the entire second level. When it was added the roof was left on the lower level and a crawl space of about 5' high for the HVAC system was created in between the lower and upper levels of the home offering an excellent noise barrier! With that being said we still ask that you be mindful that there are others on the property. ★We do not anticipate damages to anything in the space. Please, the surfboards are for your eyes only, do not touch. Just for extra precaution we are adding this to the listing: for damage to the Long Board surfboard the charge will be $1000. and for the short board (yellow and white) $1500. ★Hurricane season is June to November, please see Airbnb policy regarding weather events: "Weather events, natural conditions, and diseases that are excluded from our Extenuating Circumstances Policy" There will be no refunds related to weather events.
