This open-concept home features nearly 2,000 sq ft of light-filled space with large windows and skylights, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The living room and dining area open onto stunning views, and the fully equipped kitchen—complete with a gas stove—makes cooking a pleasure. Coffee lovers will appreciate complimentary Oso Negro beans, along with a selection of teas, sugar, and spices. Relax in the living area with a flat-screen Roku TV, games, books, and a cozy down-filled couch by the fire. Sleeping Arrangements • Garden View Room (Main Floor): Queen bed with gel memory foam mattress, ample storage, and views of Morning Mountain. High-quality cotton sheets are lightly scented with essential oils for a restful sleep. • Office Bedroom (Main Floor): Double bed with optional single bed setup available for groups of four singles. Please request in advance. • Mountain View Room (Upper Level - included with bookings of 3+ guests): A 500 sq ft private suite with a memory foam queen bed, gas fireplace, window air conditioner and spa-inspired ensuite featuring a large soaker tub, slate shower, and private toilet room. The 360° views of Kootenay Lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Note: We offer discounted rates for groups of two. The Mountain View Room is available as an upgrade—just let us know in advance if you’d like to include it in your stay. ⸻ Work & Play Need to work remotely? The main floor office includes a large built-in desk that comfortably accommodates two, with a view of the gardens and access to the back deck. The patio features a seasonal dining area, with views overlooking Grohman Narrows. Books, cards, and board games are available for family-friendly entertainment. ⸻ Location Highlights We’re just a block from the Rails to Trails pathway—ideal for walking, biking, or Nordic skiing. It’s a quick drive to downtown Nelson’s cafes, restaurants, museums, and boutique shops. Local attractions include: • Whitewater Ski Resort – 20 minutes • Ainsworth Hot Springs – 45 minutes • Kokanee Creek Provincial Park – 20 minutes • Lion’s Park – 3 blocks (playground, water park & ball field) Guest access Guests have private access to the upper two floors of the home, including: • One or two bedrooms & bathrooms (based on group size) • Kitchen, dining, and living areas. We’ve stocked the home with a generous supply of essentials like toilet paper, dish soap, coffee and garbage bags to get you started. For most guests, this lasts the whole stay. If you need more, there are several nearby stores where you can easily pick some up • Office (with optional additional fourth bed) • Seasonal fruit & veggie picking from the garden • Games, books, and family-friendly extras Other things to note Pets: Must be pre-approved. Pet fee: $50 per pet (max 2). Please message us with your pet’s breed, age, and size before booking. Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Check-out: 11 AM. Please follow posted check-out instructions by the door. No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking or tampering with the smoke detector will result in a $400 fee. Guest Disclosure Required: Airbnb and local regulations require full disclosure of all guests and pets. This is essential for licensing, insurance, and cleaning logistics. Guests must also provide contact and vehicle information. Lost Keys: Lost or unreturned keys will incur a $250 rekeying fee.
