Maple Forest: hike-bike-ski

My place is close to Mount Mansfield for skiing and hiking, right on xc and mountain bike trails, across the road from the Matterhorn where there is fantastic wood fired pizza and sushi! Our location is fun-tastic! Although the house is private up in the woods. We are typically quiet here by 10 pm, but you can howl all night at the Matterhorn if you like and just walk up the drive home, never drive your car! Safer... We have coffee and granola for breakfast. . The space The house is tucked off the Mountain Road, so it is private and quiet. There is a small convenience store across from the Matterhorn Bar and Restaurant, voted "Best Apres Ski Bar in America!". This is all right at the bottom of our driveway. A shuttle stops at the Matterhorn all winter, which goes to the mountain and to town, only runs once in a while in summer. We are also right on xc and bike trails, by the river, and a mile from the ski lifts, the best location ever. You don't even have to drive if you're partying apres ski. Guest access We keep it simple here for everyone's independence, so guests can keep their own time schedule. No cooking allowed on site. There is the Mountain Road shuttle which has different schedules depending on the season, but ostensibly, you could bike or ski to our door, and have everything you need right here, and can even shuttle to town to eat and drink.... no need to ever drive!
