Nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside this rural retreat is close to Bude and the North Devon/Cornwall coastline. Stonechat Barn is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the restful sounds of the countryside, explore the coastal path, try the surf and visit captivating villages such as Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Issac, Padstow and Clovelly. Having dreamt of owning a small hospitality business this amazing opportunity began in February 2021 when we moved to Little Derril. The space Stonechat Barn is the perfect rural family/friends retreat within Devon and close to the breathtaking North Cornish Coast with many stunning dog friendly beaches. One of the three delightful holiday cottages at Little Derril, this pretty upside down conversion sits adjoining Nuthatch Barn, opposite the owner's Farmhouse. Skilfully converted back in 2018 the original barn dates back over 300 years. Stonechat Barn is on 3 levels, both bedrooms are on the lower level , a double bed with dressing table and a twin room. The family bathroom is located by 4 steps to the next level with more stairs leading up to the open plan kitchen/dinning, lounge area. Guest access As well as your enclosed garden space you are free to walk around our 10 acres. There is a paddock and large field to watch the sunset in as well as exercise your fury friend. Alternatively you can just relax and watch the sunset go down while listen to nature’s surroundings. Other things to note Stonechat Barn has a 6ft fenced garden plus we have an extra 10 acres to enjoy. A maximum of 2 dogs WiFi is fibre broadband There is a small charge to use the washing machine in the laundry room. The iron & ironing board are stored in the laundry room and available to all guests. Reflexology is bookable onsite along with facial reflexology & Indian head massage.
