We are a classic Northern Michigan experience. Willow, this is a large 600 sq ft modern and airy space with a combination living room/full kitchen/bedroom and a separate bathroom with a shower. This private unit is in a quiet woodsy location and is perfect for those who just want more privacy and seclusion. It has 2 queen beds and a double sized futon for sleeping. It also has a soft cozy sofa and TV for relaxing, all for you enjoyment with family, friends, and pleasant gatherings while here in the North. WIFI is located at the front of the property near the office area. For your outdoor enjoyment you have your own private charcoal grill, picnic table and fire pit. From your cabin door it is just a short walk to our waterfront area on Ellis Lake or to our outdoor hot tub located in the woods beneath the pines and stars (this is shared by others at the Resort. Ellis Lake is a 50+ acre lake enjoyed by the nature lover as you can sit on the lovely deck in the early morning hours and often hear the call of the loons and see the swans, ducks and cranes when they are back for the season. During the day our guests enjoy taking a rowboat out to try their skills at fishing for pike, bass, perch or bluegill. Take a canoe or paddle boat out and paddle around the lake to look for the painted turtles that often sun themselves on the logs near the shoreline. A swim raft sits in the middle of the lake enticing you to take a dip or enjoy the warmth of the sun. In the evening, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit and take in the billions of stars that often reflect on the water as there are no lights to hinder this magnificent view. Family owned and operated, we live onsite and are available! We enjoy having our guests stop in the office when they are here to meet us. We are happy to help with recommendations or directions.
