Sally on Rees is a stand-alone lake style cottage, with a private master suite and comfy sofa bed for two additional guests. The cottage has modern amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a covered parking space. Relax in the coastal lifestyle under one of the two covered decks, one nestled in the tress and the other overlooking lake Macquarie. The space - A Separate Master Bedroom with a Queen Bed and a large built in wardrobe space. - Open plan kitchen, dining and living with all modern amenities. - The kitchen offers an abundance of bench and new stainless-steel appliances great for those who love to cook. - Pitureesque covered decks with lake and gardens views. - Air-conditioned living areas. - Free WIFI - Smart TV ready to login to all your favourite streaming services. - Bose Bluetooth speaker to break out the calming tunes with a glass of wine… or two. - Combined Modern Bathroom and Laundry nook. - Covered carport suitable for even the largest SUV’s or a caravan if your traveling. - Nestled in lush trees and generous landscaping with filtered views over Lake Macquarie - The property is located on a corner of two quiet streets however a property fence is not present, and we recommend any families with young kids to ensure they are monitored when outside. - Construction of a new dwelling is occurring next door . Construction noise will be kept to a minimum and only between the hours of 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Due to the calm nature of Wangi Wangi and for the consideration of our neighbours we do not allow for parties or events to occur on the premise. Additional guests visiting are not allowed unless prior knowledge to Julia has been provided. Guest access Sally on Rees provides the entire house and property grounds to explore and enjoy. Please note this property is not wheelchair accessible currently. Other things to note Wangi Wangi, also known as “Wangi” provides many unique opportunities you cannot find anywhere else, such as a tranquil nature walk through the bushland stopping to see the WW2 bunkers installed to protect the eastern coastlines or a walk that leads you right around the coastline of Wangi providing panoramic views. Sally on Rees is only a short 15-minute walk to a local IGA, Pub, Café, bakery and Wangi RSL. If you enjoy the calming nature of fishing, Wangi has you covered with three separate locations to fish from the jetties, or if you love being out on the water take a kayak and enjoy the calm waters of Lake Macquarie. (Please note we don’t have a kayak you will have to supply your own) Make sure to check out our Host book to see all our favourite spots around the lake, and some activities to complete. Sally on Rees interior design has been styled by Julia using some special pieces that have been hand crafted by herself to bring Julia's flare into the space, creating a truly unique experience. Wangi is known for its laid back coastal lifestyle, when you arrive you will feel yourself kicking back into 5th gear of relaxation.
