I've hosted a SU employee single lady, a traveling MRI medical couple, a Nevada family moving to NY, an executive, and solar workers from Texas. Enter this upstairs apartment into the living room that has a big picture window with great view of the front yard. the livingroom has exposed beams at the ceiling. The sunken (2 steps) room is where the queen bedroom is, with a mini walk in closet. The small but cute galley kitchen has spacious cabinets. The other bedrooms (1 being staged as the office) are off the kitchen. The bathroom with tub shower is near the rear door that leads to the back deck. This well built house in 1920 was a single family but remodeled into a 2 family possibly back in the 80s. It sits on 1.58 acres. I bought it in 2015 and have made many more improvements. Guests have a private entrance and the entire upstairs apartment, with a small deck on the front of the house with room for a bistro set or couple chairs, The larger 2nd floor back back deck. Guests have access to the basement from the outside bilco doors to use the washer and dryer. Guests can use the shared front and side yards. The back yard is fenced off for my horse and dogs. The garage is not shared for access but there is a one parking spot in front of the garage and also room in the graveled turn around. I live in the 1st floor unit, if there is anything you need I am usually home, or not far away. You can access the apartment from the front staircase. The back staircase is for emergencies only. But the 12x10 upper back deck is yours to enjoy a great place in the summer months to grill, sit out and read or just take in the breeze. Rolling Hills with trees and neighbors with well kept beautiful homes. No one behind this house, just a farm lot. Land has almost 2 acres, 200 feet road frontage and sits back from the road. lovely big front and back yards. This is located in a suburb, slightly rural area outside of Syracuse, on upper Onondaga Hill. You'll need a vehicle to get around. I believe there is a bus stop 1 or 2 miles away. There is a gas station, convenience store 1/2 mile away. Walmart, Target, Wegmans, Tops, drug stores 3 miles away. 5 miles away is Township 5 Plaza that includes a Movie Tavern, Longhorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wings and Popeyes, Costco's. This is a spacious peaceful area with beautiful neighboring homes and farmland behind. You may see or hear wildlife, deer, hawks, owls, song birds, squirrels or chipmunks. We are in a great spot with a nice breeze off a hill, I don't get a lot of mosquitos or flys so it's great sitting on back deck watching the sunset. We have couple dogs that are usually in a fenced area and a mostly indoor cat.
