Gite des Roses – 30 mins Puy du Fou

Gite des Roses is a semi-rural, spacious family holiday home on the Deux-Sèvres /Vendée border in western France. Recently refurbished, it has 2 bedrooms (one king & one twin). There is a large sitting/dining room, kitchen & utility room, family bathroom (bath & walk-in shower) as well as a dog-friendly, fully enclosed garden. Close to all regular amenities, only 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou theme park, 75 minutes from La Rochelle/L'île de Ré & an hour from Futuroscope in Poitiers. The space The spacious sitting room has a comfy leather sofa, flatscreen TV with British & French TV as well as a large wood-burning fireplace. There is an extendable dining table, a fitted kitchen with electric cooker and induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast bar. The washing machine and downstairs toilet is located in the utility room, also perfect for any canine companions.Dogs are welcome by prior approval. The back door leads down to a private, fully-enclosed garden with lawn, seating area and its very own boules pitch. Upstairs, there is a large master bedroom with king sized bed, armoire, drawers and a sitting area. The twin room is perfect for a couple of children or an older teen who wants their own space. There is a third bedroom with a small double at the back of the house which is available for slightly larger parties, upon request. The generous family bathroom has both a large bath and a walk-in shower with plenty of storage space. Guest access All areas. Other things to note There is a starter kit of provisions: toilet paper, kitchen paper, tea towel, salt & pepper, coffee, tea bags, sugar and washing up liquid. Towels and bed linen can be provided, upon request and for a fee. Logs are provided free of charge for bookings during November - March Electric radiators are on timed supply and usage is charged for stays of more than 2 nights during November-March.
