Suminoya Guest House is a small family-run inn. The theme is a homestay-like stay, where you can enjoy the small life surrounded by nature. The first floor is a guest space, and our family (husband and wife and one child) lives on the second floor.We are nearby when you need us, so you can use it with peace of mind even with children. We also offer "Suminoya-style experiences" where you can enjoy seasonal nature play and the rhythm of rural life together, if you wish.There is a signboard cat in the house, so please let us know in advance if you are not good with animals. The space Suminoya Guest House is a warm, family-run inn located in a quiet mountain village in Shodai, Hyogo Prefecture. Rather than a hotel, the stay here is characterised by the atmosphere of a "homestay, like coming home to a country house". ⸻ ■ Homestay style for families Our family (husband and wife and 4-year-old son) live on the second floor of the house. The entire first floor is exclusively for guests, and you can freely use the Japanese-style room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. The accommodation fee includes • Dinner (either eating with our family or eating with your family only) • Breakfast (self-service) Included is For dinner, we will prepare rustic home cooking using local ingredients. You can choose to have a 'homestay-style dinner' around the dining table together, or to eat a leisurely meal with just your family. We have prepared a simple breakfast set so that you can make your own breakfast It is a sense of distance that allows you to be close enough to provide support when needed, while still protecting your privacy. You can stay with your little ones with peace of mind. ⸻ ■ Experience the "children and nature" lifestyle of Suminoya Shodai is a nature-rich area surrounded by rivers, rice fields and mountains.
