A short distance from the village of Ponta Malongane and its well-known diving center, this unique eco-urbanization that combines beach and forest is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the beauty of the southern coast of Mozambique and the marine reserve of Ponta Douro. Enjoy the breathtaking walk through the coastal forest until you reach the beach to dive into the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean. The space Kangela House 12 is a beautiful beach house that was renovated during the spring of 2022 and offers multiple indoor living spaces and terraces along with a large fully-equipped kitchenette. It has four bedrooms configured as a double bedroom with a separate bathroom for two people (2p), two double bedrooms with a bathroom in which a single bed can be added (2 x 2p+1) and a bedroom with five single beds (5p) that is completed with a shared bathroom. In addition, it has a private pool as well as a shaded deck on the beach for the exclusive use of the occupants of house 12 and the two neighboring houses. The house has a permanent cleaning service, unlimited internet access via Starlink, and from February 2025 all rooms are equipped with air conditioning. In case of electricity problems, the house has a small backup generator. Other things to note Kangela 12 is part of the Kangela eco-development. After almost 25 years since its creation, it remains one of the best preserved and managed beach resorts in the area. Given the natural setting in which it is integrated, there are mandatory rules and regulations related to the behavior of guests and the conservation of the coastal forest and its dunes. You can find a copy of these rules in the documentation available in the living room of the house upon arrival or also at the reception of the condominium. We do our best to be able to enjoy the "coastal forest" ecosystem with maximum comfort and safety, but given the natural environment in which it is located, you must be prepared to interact with local fauna including monkeys that could access the inside of the house if you do not pay attention to the doors and windows. Although the usual sea breeze limits the number of insects during the night hours, we recommend using the mosquito nets available on windows and doors from dusk to prevent insects from entering the house. If you are not used to swimming in ocean waters, it is important to pay attention to the side currents to avoid scares because the beach is not guarded. Since July 2024, the house has had internet access via Starlink with unlimited access and the best possible speed in the area.
