A unique stay in rural Michigan just 12 miles from downtown Grand Rapids Mi. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a great views from the back deck. Super private too. The ground floor is a shop area and storage for my business which you must pass thru to enter the apartment. The main house is in front of the barn where we live. The property is 6 acres of fenced land , currently have chickens and two small horses a dog and a cat which you are free to interact with The space A lot of effort was put into creating a unique space. I cut the trees and milled the pine lumber for the doors and trim. Poured concrete countertops and installed a maintenance free floor. Heating and cooling by a heat-pump. This house and barn are all solar powered and net zero. This unit is limited to two guests, children 3 and under no extra charge. Guest access There is parking directly in front of the barn and or just about anywhere you like. We park and drive on the lawn daily. Please note the stairs up to the unit are a bit steep, if you have trouble climbing stairs please do not book this unit. Please limit to one car. Other things to note This a country setting and dark at night, a great place to see the stars from the deck. We are pet friendly but please limit to one pet. We request that pets stay off furniture, we do provide a cover sheet to place on the sofa if any pet has a tendency to climb on to furniture. No pets on the bed. As of February 2025 we have 2 young horses onsite, you may see and smell these horses, you may interact with horses or chickens please keep gates closed.
