The space Our 1876 Eastlake Victorian house is on the corner of 5th Street & Constitution Avenue NE, four blocks from the U. S. Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress and the Folger Shakespeare Library; ten blocks from the National Gallery of Art and twenty blocks from the White House and the Washington Monument. The main bedroom has a queen size bed complete with high-thread-count linens, and plenty of storage. The living room daybed has a trundle, and we have a Pack and Play and extra cot if you like. Guest access Nearby are multiple convenience stores and restaurants. Larger grocery stores are a 10-15 minute walk, as are historic Eastern Market and Union Market. Our apartment is a 10 minute walk to the start of the National Mall where you'll discover DC's many museums and monuments. Other things to note We have lived on Capitol Hill for decades and would love to help with any questions, concerns or advice. You will, however, have to go down four steps to enter the apartment, which may be a little hard to do if you have a mobility problem, but you'll never forget this historic trip to Washington.
