The spacious country kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook together and have a nice meal. Through the kitchen, you can reach the spacious south-facing garden. Here you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the greenery and the pond. Are you coming by bike? On request, use of a rear exit is possible. 🛏️ SLEEP: Bedroom 1: Relax wonderfully in this cozy and comfortably furnished bedroom that offers optimal comfort for a good and restful night's sleep. A comfortable double box spring bed, 160 cm wide, consisting of two mattresses with a topper. There are two single duvets and a blackout curtain. The passage between the chest of drawers and the bed is narrow There is also a second large TV with Chromecast here, so you can easily stream your own content. 🛏️ BEDROOM 2 is a cozy attic room PLEASE NOTE! Only accessible via a fixed staircase from bedroom 1. Because of the sloping roof, you can't stand upright everywhere here. The room has a comfortable double Auping bed of 160 cm width, two mattresses and two single duvets. There is a tilt window with a blackout/sun-protective roller blind, an insect screen and two fans. There is a central heating boiler that is optimally protected (annual maintenance), carbon monoxide and smoke detector 🛁 BATHROOM The bathroom is located on the upper floor and has a sink, toilet and a combination of bathtub and shower. Towels, hairdryer and soap are provided. 🚆 TRAVELING WITHOUT A CAR The train and bus station are only 300 meters away. Ideal for excursions without a car. Despite the short distance, the station is not disturbingly audible from the house and garden. 📍 PERFECT BASE Thanks to its central location, you'll be there in no time: Kerkrade (4.9 km) & Heerlen (7.9 km) Historic Sittard (21.5 km) & Valkenburg aan de Geul (20.8 km) The charming cities of Aachen (D) 24.2 km & Maastricht (44.8) km A day trip to the Eifel, the Belgian Ardennes or Liège is also very easy to make from here! Whether you come for hiking, biking, culture, cozy cities or just a few days of rest: there is plenty to discover. 🕐 ARRIVE and DEPART WITH EXTRA PEACE OF MIND We allow very generous times: Check-in from 1:00 p.m. – check-out by 1:00 p.m. No hurries, no stress — just arrive calmly and enjoy to the fullest. 👨‍👩‍👧 IMPORTANT TO KNOW The house is suitable for adults and children aged 8 and up. There are no specific facilities for young children, such as stair gates or child safety covers on electrical outlets. The home can accommodate up to 4 people. A higher rate applies for more than 2 people. Therefore, please indicate the correct number of guests when booking so that we can properly prepare the accommodation. Because this is also our own home, some rooms and closets are private and not accessible.
