Enjoy your stay at The Nook! The space features a queen sized bed, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, WiFi and more. It attaches to a private, full-sized bathroom and offers its own separate, keypad entrance. Location! *18 miles: Smuggler's Notch & Burlington *17 miles: Bolton Valley-VT's largest Mt with night skiing *9 miles: Mt Mansfield; VT's highest peak *16-37 miles: Stowe -season dependent *5 min drive to market, nature trails, restaurants, museums, antiques, creemees and more! The space The Nook is a part of our home and is located at the far back corner of our house-directly behind our deck. The Nook is a private room with an attached full-size bathroom and has its own exterior entrance. Guest access Please feel free to sit at the table and chairs under the grape arbor-which is located directly across from The Nook. You may also enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs under the big maple tree to the left of the garage. Please note, the deck and the pool are for owners only. Thank you! During your stay We are a busy family who come and go often. We may get the opportunity to cross paths with you and we may not; it depends on the activities of the day :) With this said, the comfort of our guests is a priority of mine so please don't hesitate to reach out if you should need anything during your stay at The Nook. Other things to note *Please read ALL to ensure that our space is a good fit for you prior to booking! *Sounds: The Nook is very much part of our house. We are an active family of 4 with 2 boisterous Labs, a cat and free range chickens. While we are mindful of our guests, sound does travel and you will hear us through the walls or from above. The Nook bathroom shares a wall with our family kitchen. Please note at times-our family rises early to get ready for work/school and to tend to the animals. *Location: The Nook is a private room in our home and is located (120 ft walk) at the far back corner of our house. There will be fixed, sensor lights in place along the way if coming and going after dark. Please note, you may be walking on snow, wet grass or mud as there is no stone or paved walkway from the driveway to The Nook (depending on the unpredictable VT weather). We will snow blow and salt when icy. *Animals: We have 2 labs (Maple & Theo). They are trained to an underground fence and are often outside. They are always off leash. They will bark at you and possibly jump up to say hello (works in progress), however, they are sweet hearts. We also have free-ranging chickens on the property (watch your step!) *Lastly, we live about a mile away from the Ethan Allen Firing Range.
