Come down our hundred foot long, private driveway. On the other side of the green gate, is our 9 acre small scale, working farm/ranch. Walk out back on your private path to your studio nestled up against a 80 year old fig tree. Unpack and freshen up in your Japanese inspired bathhouse. Then head out for Adventure! This 350 sq. ft studio is located behind the main house in a sheltered garden space. The studios has high ceilings, and a beautifully crafted wooden loft with a queen bed. It has a lower seating area with a pull out sofa bed and comfortable arm chairs. There is a fully functioning kitchen with a gas range and a small fridge. Directly outside is a private flag stone patio with seating. There is a wooden bathhouse attached to your studio with a private claw foot tub/ shower and toilet. Gated and secured off street parking. We are one block from city limits so we are country living close to town. Our kitchen is fully equipped, but if your not, there is one of the best little cafe’s just a five minute walk from us. From the ranch it’s a 10 minute bike ride with views of Humboldt Bay to California’s oldest farmers market, in Arcata Ca. Or a 10 minute drive to the excellent surfing beaches in Trinidad ca. Ride your bike to Redwood Park right behind Cal Poly Humboldt to see the huge old growth Redwood trees! We live in and around six Rivers national Forest, and the great and mighty Redwood national Park. The river rafting is world class and the wildlife is as well! Please be sure to check the “directions” section . It gives you directions, parking instructions and more. The studio is a shoe-free environment. Please remove your shoes before entering the unit. There is no smoking on this property. Please be careful not to deposit smoking smells on the linens and furniture. There are many other people bedding down here on this property, so we ask that everyone turn the volume down at 9pm to let people rest well. This is also a fragrance free environment. Please refrain from using perfumes, cologne or other highly scented items. We have to account for other guests who may have sensitivity’s and allergies. If you bring a pet and have paid the extra pet fee just be sure you keep your pet on a leash at all times on the property and please pick up all pet waste. We have small farm animals that roam free on the property and we want to keep them safe. Also please do not leave your pet unattended in the unit. Please be courteous to other guests and keep your pets off the furniture.
