Was everything better before? Come and relax on the shores of Lake Saimaa in the peace of nature and experience the atmosphere of traditional cottage living in the beautiful scenery. The cozy log cabin has a kitchen, bedroom and loft bed. You can sit on the terrace in the evening and watch the scenery. In the peat-roofed traditional sauna, you can get soft steam from a large wood stove, after which you can refresh yourself in the clear water of Lake Saimaa. The lean-to has a large open fireplace where you can fry sausages and marshmallows. The space The log cabin has a small kitchenette where you can cook and watch TV. The bedroom has a 160 cm wide double bed and a single bunk bed above the footboard. The traditional sauna with a peat roof is made from an old smoke sauna, the walls of which are covered with soot, which brings a unique dim atmosphere. The lean-to has a ball grill, a long dining table and a large open fireplace. Food can also be cooked in a smokehouse or a roasting pad. Guest access Guests have access to a log cabin, traditional sauna + cooling terrace, outdoor toilet, beach and free parking. On the beach there is a shared lean-to with a long dining table and a large open fireplace. Other things to note There is no running water in the log cabin, but drinking water can be found in the water tank in the cabin. Cold water is supplied to the sauna with a hose in May-September. Water used in the kitchen can be heated on the stove or with a kettle. Bath water can be heated in the stove's water tank. During the winter season, from October to April, there is no running water. NOTE! There is no bathroom on the property. The toilet is an outdoor toilet on the other side of the plot 130 m away. The plot also has another of our properties "Panorama Villa + Sauna on the shore of Lake Saimaa", whose guests have access to the beach and the pier. The host couple also lives on the property. A shared rowing boat is at your disposal free of charge. We'll also lend you life jackets.
