A perfect place to recharge after your walk or short drive to wine districts, fabulous restaurants, hot air balloon rides, concerts, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and a local McMenamins. Your room is intended to offer you comfort after a long fun day! I have an extra bedroom if you do not mind sharing the bathroom with your friends/family. Please text me for more info. Ample free parking in this quiet family and friendly neighborhood. The space This is a craftsman style home and your private room has a large window facing west with a greenspace view of the back yard and protected wetlands area. Please use the room-darkening shade for your privacy and to control the temperature. You are less than one mile from the nearest tasting room, .9 miles from the nearest taproom, and .8 miles from the nearest park along Little Bear Creek. Haggen, your nearest grocery and gift store, is 2 miles away. Your double bed is firm with a memory foam mattress topper enabling you to recharge for your next day's adventures. Your private bathroom just across the hall from your room has as skylight, double sinks, a bathtub, and a shower head with multiple massaging pulses. You will also find a hair dryer, makeup cloth, cotton balls, Q-tips, ear plugs, makeup towel, and shower caps. I work from home most of the time and you may hear me down the hall in a video conference if you are home during the weekday. I also have two grand-doodles I occasionally sit for that you may see in the house, but they will never enter your private space and they are very friendly. Please let me know if you are afraid of dogs and I will make sure they do not visit during your stay with me. I have taken extra efforts to put your mind at ease that everything in your room has been sanitized. Every hard surface is wiped down with sanitizing wipes, your pillows have been washed and dried, all bedding, towels and rugs have been bleached, all glasses, dishes and silverware have been ran through the dishwasher and all common surfaces (lamp switches, light switches, door handles, door key, window handles, closet knobs, dresser knobs, remote control and front door keypad) have been sanitized for your protection. Extra sanitizing wipes are located in your room for additional security. Guest access This is a top floor private room. Access to your room is nine exterior steps to the front door( via keyless entry), and then three more flights of stairs to your room. The stairs are extra wide and I am happy to help you with your luggage when you arrive. You also have access to the second floor living room, balcony, and powder bathroom. In the living room you will find a piano you are welcome to play anytime. You will also find a guitar you are welcome to take outside or to your room. The covered balcony gets morning sun and its privacy lends itself to morning coffee, reading, or nightcaps with a snuggly throw (provided). There is central heat and air with a screen in your window, extra blankets, extra pillows, and a fan in your room. Please text me through the app if I can help you be more comfortable or you forgot something. During your stay I look forward to meeting all of my guests and would love to socialize. I also respect my guests privacy / time, and make myself available at all times for questions, concerns, or requests. Other things to note Please drive very slow (10-15 mph) in the neighborhood and even slower if there are children present. Feel free to pause in the driveway to drop your luggage, say hello, and get settled before you park in the cul de sac or across the street. On your way out, please feel free to warm up your car in the driveway to load up your luggage when checking out.
