We’re empty-nesters that have a beautiful suite for our children to stay in while visiting, but it sits empty between their visits. Our home is very clean, private, and quiet, and our neighborhood is safe and friendly. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’d love to share our home with you. Our beautiful valley and the incredible mountains around Snowbasin will not disappoint those wanting a quiet, peaceful place to relax, or those with an active lifestyle that want to experience the many year-round outdoor activities in our area. We live on the northwest end of our mountain valley, which means we’re very close to Snowbasin, and also close to cities like Ogden, Layton, Farmington and Riverdale. We’re minutes away from incredible hiking trails, mountain and road biking, a large reservoir, rivers, and of course, skiing and snowboarding. Leave your concerns and stresses at the mouth of the canyon and come enjoy our mountain paradise. You can pick those stresses up on your way back down the canyon, unless they somehow disappear. The guest suite has a private outdoor entrance and includes a private patio with gas fire pit/table, a full kitchen with all of the amenities, a dedicated sitting area to capture the incredible mountain views, a walk-in closet, a full bathroom with double sinks, and a luxurious bathtub and separate shower. The main living area has a leather couch with 2 power recliners, Blu-Ray player, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount, Max, Peacock, PBS, and Amazon Prime apps. Also includes access to a large hot tub; we also use the hot tub, so simply notify us when you’d like to use it and it will be all yours for private use. You’re also welcome to use our large patio, gazebo, and grill, just notify us in advance or send us a quick message to see if we’re using it. With easy access to and from I-84, the suite is only 10-15 minutes from Snowbasin Resort, 35 minutes from Powder Mountain, 55 minutes from Park City, and 25 minutes from Pineview Reservoir. Only 35 minutes from the Salt Lake International airport, and 10-15 minutes to great dining options and shopping areas in Layton, Farmington and Ogden. This is the perfect location to enjoy the quiet, peaceful calm of the mountains and also be close enough to all the amenities of the city. An onsite gym, washer and dryer, and a game room with a pool/ping pong table and children’s rock climbing wall may be available for an additional cost. Check with us prior to booking if interested. Guest access This is a private suite with a separate outdoor entrance. The suite includes a private patio, separate outdoor viewing area, main living area with power reclining couch and large TV, full kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom, and a walk-in closet. Standard items: –The suite is stocked with all common items, including glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, etc. –All cupboards are labeled with their contents. –The fridge has standard condiments available, including ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and Miracle Whip. –Feel free to use anything in the suite. Appliances: –The suite has a microwave, fridge, freezer, stove and double oven, dishwasher, toaster, slow cooker/crock pot, electric frying pan, and coffee maker. Media: –There’s a large TV in the front room with an attached Blu-Ray player, and a smaller TV in the bedroom. Both have the common streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Paramount, Max, Peacock, and PBS. Hot tub: –The hot tub is available for your use 24 hours a day. –The owners also use the hot tub, so just send a quick message before using it to ensure it’s not being used. –After 10:00 pm, we ask that you be sensitive to us and our neighbors and keep the noise levels down. Patio and sitting area: –The suite has a private patio and separate sitting/viewing area that is dedicated for your use. –The patio has a gas fire pit/table, and a power retractable awning. –The sitting area has a great view of the mountains. Other things to note - We live in a quiet mountain community where you can see the stars at night. Please use common decency during your stay and be respectful of us and our neighbors. - While the suite is well sound proofed, the owners get up early to exercise in a gym that’s on the same level as the suite. We’ll be as quiet as possible and hope you don’t hear a sound. - The suite is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each guest, including all fresh linens. - For stays of 3 nights or fewer the owners will not provide cleaning services or linen changes (including sheets, pillow cases, towels, hand towels and wash cloths). - For stays of 4-6 nights, the owners will not provide cleaning services, but will provide fresh linens on day 4 (after the 3rd night), including sheets, pillow cases, towels, hand towels and wash cloths. - For stays of 7-15 nights, the owners will provide fresh linens every 4th day (3 nights between changes), and provide cleaning services on day 7 and 13 (after the 6th and 12th night). - For stays longer than 30 nights, please contact the owners in advance to coordinate cleaning services. - Guests staying 4 nights or more are welcome to use the laundry room next to the suite free of charge. The owners have a separate laundry room for their use, so you’ll be able to use the laundry room when it’s convenient for you. - Cleaning supplies are always readily available for spills, accidents, and other urgent needs.
