This sweet little home is sitting on 5 acres of wooded property. It is peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to relax and unwind from the stresses of life. The bonus ? It's only 1.5 miles from restaurants, bars, shopping, county parks and trails, and a bustling village with many shops and other activities. Laura had a dog rescue next door, but is on hiatus now. You can see the doggie buildings just across the yard. No barking going on, but the grateful spirits of the rescues still linger. The space Rooms are all very simple and clean. We rehabilitated many sweet dogs in this house when our Rescue was full. But it's been renovated now and we are looking forward to new human friends to make more happy memories! Please note that this is a shared home - that's the reason why the overnight costs are so affordable. There may be other guests in the home during your stay or there may be an occasional housekeeper who needs to clean a private room before an incoming guest. Your private space will not be disturbed.. If you would like to be notified of new arrivals or a scheduled clean, please inform your host. Laura would be happy to keep you in the loop! Guest access This extra large private space has a sleeping space on one side and a kitchenette with mini fridge, sink and counters, toaster oven and a big table for work or study on the other side. But the rest of the house is available too! Shared kitchen fully furnished, shared bath newly renovated, and a laundry and dining room are also available. Yes, it's a simple house in the woods but the energy here is wonderfully peaceful and accepting of all travelers! During your stay Host will be available via text - just let me know if you need anything! Other things to note All private sleeping rooms have keyed locks that can be locked while you are home or away for your peace of mind. The bathroom can also be locked for your convenience. This particular room also has a private exterior entrance and small porch designated just for you! Being outside in the woods can be magical and you are welcome to explore the property. We own the adjacent 5 acres as well, so have a seat among the trees and take some deep breaths.
