Casa da Suta is a newly built accommodation designed to provide moments of conviviality between family and friends in a quiet location with stunning views over the sea and the north coast of São Miguel Island. Outside, we invite you to relax in our Jacuzzi at the end of the day, enjoying music of your choice, with our portable sound system. In the upper living room, you will find the ideal setting for reading and a good tea, enjoying a panoramic ocean view. The space With elegant architecture and decoration, the house was designed to provide family or group conviviality. On the ground floor, in an open space, you will find the kitchen and living and dining room, as well as 3 of the 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms on the ground floor have a double bed and an extra bed more suitable for children or teenagers. On the upper floor is an extra bedroom, with two single beds, a bathroom and a living room with panoramic views of the sea and the island's north coast. Through this room, you will have access to a balcony with sun loungers if you want to relax while sunbathing and listening to music or enjoying our Jacuzzi. The Garden has a lawn area for children to play freely and safely. And you can still have the possibility to start the day with a beautiful sunrise over the sea. Other things to note Standard check-in time is after 5:00 p.m. It can be at any time if the house is available. It has to be confirmed first. Please be advised that: Check-ins between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. have a fee of €20. Check-ins after 10:30 p.m. have a fee of €30. The same €30 fee applies to check-ins before 8:00 a.m. All check-in fees are charged upon arrival in cash. We would like to inform you that, as of January 1, 2025, a new law has come into force in the Azores that requires the collection of a tourist tax of €2 per night and per guest, during the first 3 nights of the stay. This charge will apply to all guests, except in the exemption situations provided for in the legislation. Exemptions: The following cases are exempt from the fee: a) Guests under the age of 13; b) Guests whose stay is motivated by obtaining medical services, for the days necessary for treatment, plus one overnight stay, extending this exemption to a person accompanying the sick guest (even if the companion does not stay overnight in the establishment due to health reasons); c) Guests with a physical disability equal to or greater than 60%; d) Residents of the Azores. Documentation Required for Proof: To benefit from the exemption, you will need to present the documentation corresponding to the situation at the time of payment of the fee. The following documents are required: a) For guests under the age of 13: Citizen card or passport; b) For guests with a stay motivated by medical services: Copy of the document proving the appointment or provision of medical services, indicating the date; c) For guests with a disability level of 60% or higher: Document proving the disability status; d) For residents of the Azores: Identification document (citizen card, identity card, certificate of residence or proof of address).
