Craiglea sits beside beautiful Victoria Range in the Grampains. Total comfort for resting and recharging, or going bush walking, bird watching, golfing or exploring. Enjoy two of the state's best, award winning restaurants, and many other local eateries. Be amazed at our wineries. Fishing, boating, horse riding and much more to be enjoyed. Dunkeld, Cavendish, Hamilton, Horsham, Halls Gap, Wannon & Nigretta falls and the stunning 164 km Grampians Peaks Trail for walking/hiking are all here. The space Craiglea is a 65 year old, completely renovated and redesigned home on 100 acres beside the beautiful Grampians Victoria Range. Beautiful polished timber floors throughout, four spacious bedrooms, two large new bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with large dining and living areas. Full windows face the mountain ranges and in front of those is a large under cover decking area with outdoor BBQ and kitchen facilities. Perfect for watching the moon or the sun rise over the ranges. Large lawned areas surround the house and are shaded by beautiful old trees. A lovely wood heater gives a cosy feel throughout when it's chilly, is supported by four split systems. Peace and quiet , lazy comfort throughout. Please note, pets are welcome but please contact us to discuss how best to care for your fur family members while on the property. We do not permit animals inside the home. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole house and the nearest neighbour is the host, at 1 km away. Other things to note Craiglea is not in town but is situated within a very short drive of so many of the regions best attractions, events and activities. Calendar events are the Annual Dunkeld Cup Races, Sheepvention, the Grampians Grape Escape, and various local food and wine festivals. The highly acclaimed Hamilton Art Gallery and Botanic Gardens are 30 minutes away. The breathtakingly beautiful Great Ocean Road starting from Warrnambool and Port Fairy is 90 minutes away.
