The Farm-Peaceful&Very close to Everything

While The Farm provides the peace and “in the country” atmosphere, it’s only 3 minutes from Ponca City and all the conveniences of restaurants and shopping. Completely updated, The Farm is a three bedroom, two full bath brick home. The eat-in kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and enjoy family and friends. Right outside your back door, you will see all kinds of farm equipment and cattle grazing in the back pasture. The house has a large yard that borders an agricultural field. The space We use The Farm daily when family and/or guests aren’t there, so you’ll find snacks, coffee, waters etc in the kitchen. Guests are welcome to whatever is there! There’s something for everyone at The Farm. In town on business? Use the desk or spread out on the kitchen table or bar area to work. The Farm is equipped with high speed internet sufficient for all your streaming and/or business needs. Relaxing? Enjoy the large yard; take a walk around the property or play board games in the living room. There’s outside seating and a gas grill for your use as well. The living room has a large smart TV equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Roku TV. Soft, warm throw blankets are available in the living room for reading or TV watching. If you are visiting for a hunt, a fishing tournament or some Motor Cross, there’s plenty of room to park vehicles and trailers. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare meals. It's equipped with nice pans and dishes as well as snacks and waters. For those who have extreme food allergies, please know that there are peanut, milk and egg products in the home. The kitchen is not gluten free. Don’t feel like cooking? You are only a few minutes from Ponca City. The Farm welcome book gives you suggestions and a list of our favorite restaurants. The home is a one story, brick home with 2 steps up to both entrances. The home is listed to accommodate 8 people. Please be aware there are 2 queen bed, 1 full, a large couch and air mattresses. Guest access Key Pad self check in Other things to note The Farm is my husband's family home. After his father passed, we remodeled. Many, many things in the home are a tribute to his father and mother and are of sentimental value. If you see something and think, "Well, that's different", it probably has some family meaning. We have family and friends stay frequently and the home has also been furnished with guests in mind. We love this home and we hope you will treat it like the family home it is. If you are in the area for a hunt or a fishing tournament, there is more than enough space to park your vehicle(s) and trailer(s). The white house you can see to the East is also our property and belonged to my husband's Grandparents. We now have friends renting there. If you have children with you, please monitor them closely outside. Although you are out of city limits, cars frequently travel down the black top road in front of the house. Kids LOVE the big equipment. If you'd like for us to let them sit in the big tractor or one of the other pieces of equipment, please ask. We will do everything we can to accommodate. :) Please make sure that unless we are there, everyone in your party stays off of the equipment. Children should have an adult with them when they are looking. A lot of the equipment has sharp pieces that could be dangerous, even when not in use. NextLink wifi is available and is more than adequate to do what you need to do for business and/or socializing. =) At this time guests do not have access to the basement or the garage. We are still working on those areas. We may drive in to the barn or back pasture to check cows during your stay. We will not use the house or the yard during your stay.
