Best part is our condo is a quick 5-minute stroll from the Village District which has 90+ restaurants & retail shops available to explore. We are also walking distance to Glenwood South, Five Points & several area parks. We hope the Vintage Mod Pad will surprise & delight you! The space Our small 550 sq ft condo lives large with its open floor plan and abundance of natural light. Enjoy vintage charm that harks back to the 60s and 70s like antiqued mirror tile backsplash, groovy accent walls and beaded curtains, but with modern comforts like luxury vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, new appliances, contemporary lighting, ceiling fan in bedroom and smart locks/TV. This home has 1 bedroom and 1 bath and can sleep up to 2 guests. The bedroom features a king bed with new luxury linens, high density memory foam mattress, extra pillows and a full-size closet with luggage rack and hangers. The bedroom also has a small desk for remote work and an exercise center with a vintage Schwinn stationary bike, hand weights and yoga gear for staying active while you travel. The living room features a 55-inch Roku Smart TV where you can enjoy free apps or login to your subscription programs like Amazon Prime and Netflix. For your convenience, there is a washer/dryer in unit with iron and ironing board. There is a PTAC wall unit (a self-contained heating and air conditioning system) that effectively heats and cools the place. Grab your morning coffee or tea and enjoy a relaxing start to your day on one of our covered porches. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook up some great meals – coffee station/snacks, pots/pans, cooking basics, toaster and more. We'll provide you a link to our custom Welcome book with all of our favorite Raleigh restaurants and activities for when you feel like venturing out to explore. With a playful nod to the past, the Vintage Mod Pad is hip and the location is happening. This home has been designed with love to create a one-of-a-kind experience that transports you to a time when the mood was groovy and the vibe was cool. When possible, we’d like to accommodate your pet during your visit. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we charge non-refundable pet fee for each pet. Reach out to us if you would like us to consider your pet. - When you stay with us, you are doing good for the planet! We try to be green, and you’ll notice touches throughout your stay. It costs more but it’s the right thing to do. We are also supporters of Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) non-profit and have committed to making a $5 donation for each visit to our home. TLC works connects people with nature and protects green spaces. - We proudly support local businesses and have partnered with some of our favorite small businesses to surprise and delight you during your stay.
