Homely cottage with pool, Penzance near St Ives

Relax with the family in our well equipped, cozy holiday house, in the small, friendly Kenegie Manor holiday park, surrounded by lawns and trees. Perfectly placed to explore the joys of West Cornwall. From the sandy beaches of St Ives to the Rugged beauty of Lands End there is so much to explore. Why not take a trip to St Michael's Mount, or see a show at The Minack theatre, or maybe a walk on the coast path. The space Glenlee is a comfortable, modern, light and airy, two bedroom cottage with a homely feel. The ground floor has an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, twin bedroom with a view over open famland and shower room. Within the 11 acre Kenegie Holiday Park, you will find two tennis courts, a pitch and putt course, landscaped gardens and lawns. The main building has free wifi, there's a heated indoor pool, sauna, small shop and pub which does traditional food and takeaways. You can buy a weekly pass for the pool or pay as you go. Please note the main building has a winter closure between end of October and beginning of February. Glenlee gives an excellent base to explore beautiful West Cornwall with its numerous picturesque beaches, and many interesting walks. It is situated between Penzance (2 miles) with historic Chapel Street leading to the harbour where you can get the Scillonian to the Scilly Isles and St Ives (6 miles) with its cobbled streets of small independent shops and beautiful Tate St Ives and The Barbara Hepworth collection are very interesting. The town of Marazion, with its safe, gentle sloping beach with the causeway to St Michael's Mount is well worth a visit. There are many popular surfing beaches within easy reach where it's also possible to hire boards, wet suits and take lessons. There are also paddle board and kayaking schools, offering rental and tuition. Guest access The cottage has an open plan lounge/diner with a large TV, sofa and rocking armchair. There is a well equipped kitchen area, including a fridge with a freezer compartment plus a full sized oven and electric hob with overhead extractor hood. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and the shower room with wash basin and toilet. The double bedroom has bedside tables, a set of drawers and built-in wardrobe. The twin bedded room also has a built in wardrobe and bedside drawers. Other things to note WiFi is available, supplied by a separate company. The costs vary depending upon the number of devices and days required. The swimming pool, which is open February to October, is paid for separately as a pay as you go online or by a weekly pass obtainable from reception.
