Quiet and comfortable, situated on a beautiful property overlooking the Loudoun Valley, enjoy a taste of the country and mountain life only 60 miles from Washington, DC. In the heart of VA's wine country, easily accessible to vineyards, breweries, and other activities. For adventurous guests, the Appalachian Trail and Shenandoah River are within minutes. Pleasant to visit year round. This charming home is perfect for couples, families, and friends seeking a country escape in the heart of Northern Virginia’s wine country. Home of the Bluemont Fair, Bluemont Vineyard, Dirt Farm Brewery, Great Country Farms, Bear Chase Brewery, and others. Easy access to Leesburg, Purcellville, Round Hill, and Middleburg. Ample parking for guests. The entire home is available to guests. We offer a fully equipped 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house on two acres of land. The property has a mix of wooded area and a large grass yard, including a kid friendly swing set. The front porch and back patio have seating areas to enjoy fresh air and local wildlife (mostly deer and birds!). We have a second building on the property that is not accessible to guests at this time. We communicate clearly and effectively with guests via text messaging and the Airbnb chat function. We have taken care to provide practical information for guests upon booking as well as in the home. Questions and concerns will be addressed immediately by hosts. We are walking distance to the Bluemont General Store and Bluemont Station in “downtown” Bluemont, VA. One mile to Bear Chase Brewing and two miles to Dirt Farm Brewing, Bluemont Vineyard, and Great Country Farms. With easy access to Route 7 and Route 50, enjoy the towns of Berryville, Winchester, Leesburg, Purcellville, Round Hill, and Middleburg. There is much to see and do within a short drive from the home. The property has parking on a large gravel driveway located on the premises. Most activities will require driving. Cabs, vans, buses, and Ubers should be arranged in advance due to availability. We will offer additional information and recommendations upon request. This house was built in 1840. It is well maintained and clean with modern system upgrades throughout. Please enjoy the history and appreciate the quirks of a 180 year old colonial home!
