The surrounding land is filled with spectacular scenery of wind-bent trees and greenery stretching beyond the property line. The entrance courtyard boasts the property's original well and old stables, a welcome sight to begin your magical stay, it also contains a BBQ area and seating. Inside, the property is filled with character, keeping in touch with it's historic routes whilst adding a host of contemporary features. Take a breather in the intimate sitting room, decorated with vintage trinkets and lying under a low ceiling mezzanine first-floor hallway; rest your legs on one of the check pattern or leather sofas, enjoying a family movie filled with laughter. the room is complete with French doors, which you can throw open on a warm summer's day and head out onto the patio for a spot of alfresco dining. Behind is the homely kitchen/diner, fixed with all the necessities needed to cook up a big meal, there's also a coffee machine to quench your caffeine cravings over a morning catch-up at the spacious dining table. Also downstairs is a shower room, complete with quirky flooring and a roomy shower. The striking wooden staircase takes you up to a charming lobby area, complimented by antique trinkets and a plush chair that's perfect for enjoying a spot of reading. Rest your eyes in one of four marvelous bedrooms which stretch all the way around the property in separate sections; the king-size rooms offer en-suite showers, with several of the rooms benefiting from TVs, all rooms inherit their own unique character with a mix of cathedral windows, eaves and there's even a split-level room. Not far from the cottage is a convenience store, where you can stock up on treats and further into the main part of town is a variety of pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Close by is Drumaheglis Marina, where you can enjoy fishing, sailing or canoeing, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Visit the Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden, where you can pay your respects to the racing legend and take a peaceful stroll around the park. Game of Thrones fans can't miss visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant's Causeway, where several locations were used for filming, there's even tours and trails to go on so you get the full experience. A short drive away is the Old Bushmills Distillery, where you can learn all about the history and makings of the popular Irish whisky, there may also be a chance for tastings. Take the family for an exciting day out in the thriving city of Belfast, which is easily accessible from the property, with a bounty of shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, and sight-seeing opportunities like the Titanic Museum, Belfast Castle, the Botanic Gardens, and St George's Market.
