Great fishing (year-round), kayaking, canoeing, and biking in the great outdoors of beautiful Northeast Wisconsin. You're sure to spy eagles fly overhead, geese, foxes, ducks, and other wildlife. Store, gas station, are just 5 minutes away. Drive 5 minutes to the Red River and go tubing down rapids in summer or the sledding hill in winter! Enjoy simple, quiet time away. No pets please. The space Clean, rustic A-frame with an updated 70's vibe in a rural lake neighborhood. Rooms have comfortable beds with cotton bed sheets, so you can sleep the night away nestled among the trees and lake. It's a great outdoor getaway! Year-round fishing right out the back door on Lower Red Lake. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing right out the back door. Snowmobile right onto Red Lake, which is part of the snowmobile trail system Section 3A Kayak, rowboat and motor boat right off the dock in the summer months. (kayaks and rowboat included). Lake not suited for swimming but is sure is a peaceful paddling spot. (Kayak and rowboat are not available from November - June). "The Rock" is a very scenic place to swim, tube, and whitewater kayak. Do a search or ask the host for information on how to get there. A MUST when you are staying here! Gorgeous in wintertime too! Boat landing is 1/4 mile down the road from the A-frame. 5 minutes to Gresham Dam where many kayakers and tubers start their trip down the Red River. 5 minutes from Town Mart convenience store and gas station. 5 minutes to Jungle's Tavern on Main. 5 minutes to Family Dollar. 5 minutes to sledding hill. 10 minutes to The Rock, whitewater swimming and rafting spot. 20 minutes to Shawano's quaint Main Street. 20 minutes to Stubborn Brothers Brewery/Restaurant. 45 minutes to Granite Peak Ski Area 50 minutes to Lambeau Field/Titletown District Guest access Dock with bench for fishing or gazing out at the lake.
