Adults, this is your premium, extended stay location in the heart of Fox Valley. Your spacious, private room also includes exclusive use of the office lounge and updated bathroom. Our home is walkable to downtown Batavia and the Fox River with back gate access to a park and a walking track. Guests can relax seasonally on the front porch, or kick back on the patio. Traveling professionals will enjoy this peaceful alternative to a long hotel stay. Verified adult guest only. No children or pets. The space The Havana Haven is a master bedroom featuring a Queen-sized bed (new medium-firm mattress), barrel chair, work table with two chairs, double closets, a dresser, bookshelf, mini-fridge, microwave, alarm clock, and streaming TV. The 12' x 16' ample room is move-in ready and features in-room climate control for air conditioning and heating with an overhead ceiling fan for extra comfort. The owner’s photographs from a trip to Cuba add an artistic touch to the decor; guests are asked not to tape or nail anything to the walls during their stay. Cleaning supplies and a vacuum are available for guests to use weekly during your extended stay. The cleaning fee covers deep cleaning and sanitizing between guests. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the upstairs Batavia Lounge (futon sofa and dedicated desk), free high-speed Wi-Fi, open front porch, back patio, and shared kitchen space for meal prep. Guests may also use living room and the washer and dryer when not in use by owners. Designated kitchen space is available in the family’s refrigerator for larger items that don’t fit in the room mini fridge with access to freezer space. Also, a pantry shelf and use of the kitchen and its amenities are available for meal preparation. No hot plate cooking is allowed in the room. COVID protocol: Guests are asked to social distance and wear masks in the common areas inside the home if requested by owners. Guests who are fully vaccinated against COVID are welcome. During your stay I am happy to give a tour of Four Hawks amenities, host a welcome happy hour to answer questions, and give a tour of downtown Batavia if requested. Guests should pre-arrange times to do laundry and use the kitchen or other shared spaces to make life go smoothly for everyone. Other things to note Four Hawks backs up to a large regional park with a walking/running track and green expanse just outside the back gate to the property. Bring along your bicycle as this is a great area to catch the bicycle trails and walk the neighborhoods as well. If you like to sit outside and read a book or WFH, our inviting front porch and back patio are extended spaces open to guests April - October (weather dependent).
