Secluded Lakefront Lodge: DeGray Lake

Looking for that great escape with room for Social Distancing (over 6700 sq ft)? Tucker Lodge is an awesome waterfront space for family, companies, and church rentals and retreats. You rent the entire lodge for your event. Nestled on the point of a 230+ acre wooded peninsula where Caddo River, Cox Creek and DeGray Lake merge, the lodge has its own boat ramp and dock. Bring those boats! The beauty of the surrounding lake, river and woods makes you immediately say, " Ahhhhh". Whether you want The space You will find most everything you need at Tucker Lodge. Guests have called our kitchen a chef's dream. If you need it, we probably have it. This fully equipped kitchen has 2 gas oven/ranges, 2 sinks each with a garbage disposal, 2 dishwashers and a 19 cu ft fridge and 19 cu ft freezer. Of course we have coffee maker, Kuerig, blender, microwave, toasters, griddles, and plenty of dishes, pots & pans, skillets and kitchen utensils. The Great Room sports a giant 75" Smart TV over the large, welcoming fireplace and plenty of seating for your guests to relax and visit. The dining area will seat 36 plus a few more if you pull some chairs from the other rooms. Our bedroom accommodations are all adult twin size beds. Four of our bunk rooms contain 5 sets of adult bunkbeds and our two private rooms contain two twin beds each. Everything is on ground floor level, if any of your guests require a wheelchair or use a walker. We even have handicap accessible showers with pull down seats. Our parking lot area provides a great place to skateboard, bike/tricycle, or play cornhole or baggo. Perhaps one of your guests want to bring their own camper... there is room on our parking lot for it, too. The back, outside covered patio sports a huge fireplace, comfortable seating groups and a great view of the lake. Or you can venture a few down the walkway to the giant firepit on the shores of the lake. This is s'mores heaven! Spend sometime at our fishing dock or launch your own boat at our boat ramp and explore the beautiful shorelines of DeGray Lake or the Caddo River. You might even rent our kayaks or canoe and take a leisurely paddle around the waterways, just remember to be safe and wear a lifejacket. (Oh yes, we have lifejackets and paddles for your use, too.) Maybe you just want to go hiking and exploring! Feel free to roam our 236 acre peninsula. Say hello to many deer, squirrels, armadillos, birds, eagles and other wildlife along your journey. When you tire you can sit behind the chapel on the bluff that overlooks the Caddo River. You will not want to leave this view without taking some pictures! Guest access There is a lock box to the right of the front door at the lodge. You will be given a code that will open the door if you prefer "contactless" entry. OR we will have your hostess meet you at the lodge, give you a very quick tour of the place, give you the keys and then leave you to your stay.
