Staying at Pondor Lake will be memorable and relaxing. The space Our home is our happy place. My sons and I have lived here for 24 years. Located in the heart of Michigan's River Country and farmland, everyone who comes here leaves feeling like they've been to a retreat or went home to visit family. Approximately 30 min south of Kalamazoo/Portage areas Pondor Lake is a great choice for transient workers from area businesses, hospitals or emergency crews. Your hosts are welcoming and can offer you an array of recommendations for local activities and the best food around from our local food truck vendors to fine dining. Year round there is something to enjoy in Southwest Michigan. Pondor Lake is just minutes away from public boat launches on lakes and rivers for touring rides, a day of fishing or just relaxing. Don't have a boat? Ask to book our kayaks for a day on the river, you seriously won't regret this relaxing peaceful past time. How about ice fishing in the winter months ~ along with a local ski resort about 30 minutes away. Golf courses galore ~ both traditional and disk ~ are close by too. There's a 20 minute nature walk around the pond to remind you that the outdoors is a place to be cherished and recharge. It's quiet, unique and well maintained. Come to Pondor Lake and feel free to sit and ponder. Guest access You'll have your own private room with access to the remainder of our common areas. Kitchen, open concept Dinning/Livingroom, Laundry and full bathroom along with our beautiful scenic property. Bring your snorkel gear, fishing poles or bicycles ~ we'll supply what mother nature has blessed us with. Do you have an RV and just need a beautiful spot to set up camp overnight or for a month? Message us and we can chat about RV hookup in what we feel is the best private campground around. During your stay All you have to do is message me. Other things to note I was raised in the country, have lived in major metropolitan areas and came back to the country by choice. We are hobby enthusiasts, animal lovers, gardeners and we love to entertain. We can share our story with you and embrace yours ~ or leave you to your personal solitude or come up with a common agreement to meet somewhere in the middle. If you NEED anything ~ just ask.
