Only 5km from the centre of historic Vichy, Le Pigeonnier is a 1-bedroom apartment set in the beautiful grounds of the Château de Champagnat, consisting of 38m2 over two floors with air conditioning and heating. The space Le Pigeonnier (for 2 guests) A cosy, romantic and intimate space (38m²), ideal for a couple • Private entrance • Open-plan living area with kitchenette (combi microwave / convection oven, dishwasher, hob, extractor fan, fridge, Tassimo coffee machine, tea and coffee) • Beautiful ensuite double bedroom upstairs • Spiral staircase • Private rooftop terrace, plancha The Château is a 14th Century maison-forte, set in 2.5 ha of beautiful, peaceful parkland. You can walk and picnic in the grounds. Le Pigeonnier is newly-renovated and has it's own roof-top patio with views over the surrounding countryside. It has it's own private stone staircase to the entrance, with 160cm bed and en-suite bathroom upstairs. Well-equipped kitchenette and living area downstairs with flat screen TV you can connect your laptop to, or watch your own subscription channels. A welcome pack will be waiting for you on arrival. The park and pool are shared with the family and guests at our second gite, La Lodge. Combine La Lodge and Le Pigeonnier for a perfect stay for friends and family of up to 10 people! Please note: due to its layout (including a spiral staircase), this space is not suitable for children or guests with reduced mobility. Guest access In addition to your own private accommodation, guests have access to the pool (shared with owners, and any other visitors, open June-September from 10h00-22h00), the park, plus private use of the hot tub by reservation (private slots available all year round from 10h00-19h00). Other things to note Le Pigeonnier is not suitable for animals, babies, children or people with limited mobility due to its access steps and spiral staircase, wells and small ponds. Maximum 2 adults only. Electric vehicle charging is currently not possible at the Château, and we will supply a list of local charging stations, should you need it. For parties of up to 10 people, you can also rent La Lodge which sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (3 doubles and 1 twin). La Lodge has ramp access, 1 double bedroom downstairs and an accessible bathroom.
