Other things to note The village of Sainte-Rose du Nord is the pearl of the Fjord, the view is magnificent and the walks on the dock and the surrounding area are very pleasant. Sainte-Rose du Nord is close to two National Parks, Monts Valin Park is renowned for enjoying the abundant snow in winter and Saguenay Park is a unique place to see belugas in summer. Tadoussac is only 45 minutes away and it is the favorite place to see whales and the St. Lawrence River. Many outdoor activities are accessible near the village in summer and winter. Restaurants are not open year-round, it is best to inform you before arrival for planning your meals in winter. Everything is at your disposal to cook your meals if you arrive with your small grocery store. It will be possible to do laundry if needed for a small fee for laundry soap and drying.
