The space Stone Cottage sits elevated at the end of a private lane, with beautiful views to enjoy. This property is next door to the Rocky Woods, a woodland for walks and for kids to explore (supervised). The cottage is made of thick stone so wonderfully cool in the summer heat. The property has 3 acres of field in front plus a large garden for you to play games, sunbathe or enjoy summer dining. Alternatively, in the winter, enjoy using the fire pit outside. Family friendly activities on the doorstep include, swimming pools Waterworld, Gwyn Evans and Plas Madoc Leisure centre. Wrexham is your nearest city with great restaurants, bars, Ty Pawb (our arts and cultural hub) and Xplore! Science Centre. Wrexham also boasts Tenpin bowling, Odeon cinema and lots of entertainment for the family. Beautiful places to visit with a picnic are the Plassey, Erddig & Chirk Castle (National Trust), Ty Mawr, Alyn Waters, Acton, Minera and Nant Mill country parks (we love walking in Wales!). Why not visit our world heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct! An ice cream by the beautiful river in Llangollen after visiting its quaint shops and eateries is also a must! The large garden surrounding the property is perfect for ball games, sunbathing, dining and family games. You have exclusive access to the property and grounds. Other things to note The lane leading to the house is bumpy so drive slowly! Please park on the grass area in front of the garage so you have unspoilt views. The utility room is next door to the entrance of the house, accessible via a separate key. It houses the fire pit, washing and drying machine and outside chair covers.
