The Stable is a light, spacious, converted barn, situated on the owner’s property. Located in a pretty South Cambs village, close to Cambridge & Saffron Walden; walking distance to the Wellcome Genome Campus, Hinxton. Comprising: double bedroom, large living/dining area, microwave, single hob, kettle, toaster, mini fridge, smart TV, Roberts radio, good WiFi. Bathroom has a shower & heated towel rail. There is a secluded garden & courtyard with table & chairs. Local pub & shop - walking distance The space The Stable offers guests a relaxing and comfortable space whether visiting or exploring the local area, be it for business or pleasure. There is no kitchen as such, however; there is a microwave, single hob, kettle, toaster, mini fridge and a welcome gesture of tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and jam is provided. The village shop, Costcutter, across the road, stocks all essentials and more. The village pub, The Lion at Ickleton, is within walking distance, open Wednesday-Sunday. There are also other great pubs and restaurants in the local area. A few of which are detailed in the guest information book in The Stable. A Fish & Chip van visits the village hall carpark every Monday. If coming by car there is no off street parking, however cars can be parked on the road in front of the owners property. Great Chesterford train station is less than a mile away with a direct line to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge.
