The space Ayurveda Retreat - JSP Guest House is the perfect place from which to soak in the atmosphere of Kerala’s world famous beach staton Chowara. This restored holiday house is a haven of seclusion and tranquillity, with long carefree days giving way to lingering evenings and evocative nights. Surrounded by sea and coconut palms, the balcony both overlook the Arabian Sea, and there is no more idyllic setting from which to watch the sunrise and set. The hosts themselves are gracious and knowledgable, their family having long been involved in the town’s spice trade, and will organize trips to the local fish and spice markets, tourist centers, and notable landmarks. The living room with dining room is a common space, however, we also ask for an appropriate volume so our other guests will not be disturbed. Other things to note The House is located on a small island in a fresh water lake in Kollam and is a perfect spot for those who want to escape from the humdrum of city life. Now, it is a popular option for travellers finding their way to the beach of Poovar, Chowara and Kovalam.
