Description
Artist’s colourful, bohemian house 5 minutes from shops, cafes, pubs and the river. Freddie (cat) shares the hosting. Walking to the centre of Cambridge takes 15 -20 minutes across the river and through one of the parks or you walk along the river to access one of the restaurant areas and soak up the unique Cambridge atmosphere. I am a trained tourist guide and can offer all sorts of suggestions for getting the most out of your stay here and I have lots of information for you to study! The space Downstairs is a colourful sitting room and good-sized Kitchen and guests can have use of the kitchen on request. Upstairs is a large bedroom which is the bedroom you will stay in. There is a king-sized bed and tea and coffee-making facilities, a desk, in built wardrobe and a smart TV with Netflix. The bathroom is for your use only. It is not ensuite but three yards from your bedroom door and has a bath, separate electric shower and underfloor heating for the colder months. There is an attractive garden at the back of the house suitable for chatting and informal eating if required Guest access Guests will be provided with a key on arrival or a safe place to locate the key if their arrival is later than expected or I am unable to be there. This is a key to the whole house and they will be shown all the facilities available on arrival and offered suitable refreshment if needed. Other things to note The free car parking is for one car only but extends for the length of the visit. There is protected bicycle storage. Free maps and other tourist information will be available if needed. The house is not really suitable for a young child or someone elderly as the stairs are quite steep and I think pets cannot be accommodated because of the resident cat, Freddie.
