The space Ground Floor This two-bedroomed, luxury house is perfect for families or one/two couples looking for a spacious place to holiday in York, on a quiet street with the added benefit of on street permit parking. The property is entered through a beautiful hallway with high ceilings and original flooring, a useful space for storing coats and boots. From the hallway you’ll find a spacious and light open plan living space which retains several original features. The front of this space offers a large dining space, perfect for breakfast or a family dinner. The living area has comfortable seating for four, with a large TV for when you need to rest after a day’s sightseeing. The separate kitchen offers the ideal cooking space for as much (or as little) cooking as you want to do. Everything you’ll need is here – a large fridge-freezer, oven, built-in microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. A Nespresso Pixie coffee machine is also there for your daily caffeine kick. Top-quality crockery and glassware as well as the obligatory cafetiere and egg cups complete the kitchen. The kitchen leads through to a cosy extra snug area which looks out onto the courtyard. This space is an ideal place for reading a book, or for kids (or adults) to play a board game. There is also a useful downstairs toilet. The Courtyard The private rear courtyard is a quiet, secluded space with seating outside, ideal for enjoying a morning cuppa or an evening glass of wine. The space includes seating for four. First Floor From the hallway, stairs lead up to a full bathroom, which includes both a bath and a large drench shower. Fluffy towels are provided for all guests. The main bedroom at the front of the property has a king-sized bed with high quality mattress and luxury bedding. The second bedroom has twin beds with equally comfortable mattresses and bedding. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers so you can unpack and make yourselves at home. There is also space in the main bedroom and on the landing to store your suitcases. Parking Free permit parking is available on the street. Guest access Guests can access the entire property with the exception of the understairs housekeeping store, and a small linen storage cupboard in the main bedroom. (There is a large accessible wardrobe in the main bedroom.) Other things to note Parties York Townhouse is a terraced property in a quiet residential street. The property is suitable for families, couples or friends looking to visit York for a quiet holiday. York Townhouse is NOT suitable for parties, hen & stag nights or similar. Any bookings of this type will not be accepted. If you are coming to York for any sort of loud holiday, this isn’t the place for you! It is however the perfect place for visitors who are looking for a very typically York house to stay in, want to be in the centre of town, but also like a peaceful location to come back home to in the evening. Children Due to the nature of the property, there isn’t the facility to safely fit stairgates and manage other special risks associated with children below age four.
