Oak Holiday House Nature - Your peaceful retreat in the village of Krapje. Renovated in 2023 under the supervision of a conservator, the house is a UNESCO-protected indigenous wooden house made of oak wood. It consists of 2 floors, each with its own entrance. It offers complete privacy and comfort, with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. Each floor has a bedroom for two people and an extra bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace overlooking the river. The space The house consists of 2 floors with their own entrances, allowing guests to choose between a single floor reservation or the entire house. One bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a new bathroom. The second bedroom has two separate beds. Each room offers comfort and style, with furniture that has been carefully restored and renovated. The air conditioner ensures a comfortable stay throughout the year. The outdoor dining room allows you to enjoy nature during meals. A fenced garden with an orchard of 85 apple and pear trees provides privacy and security. Guests have the opportunity to pick fresh fruit during the season, which lasts from July to November. Free private parking and Wi-Fi are available for guests. Other things to note We are located in the picturesque village of Krapje, which is known for its rich natural heritage and traditional rural lifestyle. Krapje is located in the heart of the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, one of the most important wetlands in Europe. Our house, Oak Holiday House Nature, is located just 100 meters from the entrance to the Nature Park, giving you a unique opportunity to explore this protected area and enjoy its biodiversity. The Lonjsko Polje Nature Park is home to numerous rare plant and animal species, including storks, which are a symbol of this area. In front of the house there is a stop for a tourist boat that runs along the nearby Sava River and its tributaries, leading you to the only European rainforest. The village of Krapje also offers interesting opportunities to explore local culture and history. The Visitor Education Center in Krapje provides a detailed insight into the traditional way of life in this area, as well as the preservation of the natural heritage of the Nature Park. For lovers of local cuisine, we highly recommend the Ribič restaurant, known for its fish specialties in the area, only 500 meters from our house. For your daily needs, a small shop is only 300 meters from the house, while a larger shop is located nearby, in the town of Novska. Also, Čigoč village, known as the first European village of the stork, is only a 30-minute drive from our accommodation. Lipičke Toplice is close to Krapje, about 30 kilometers away. Lipik is known for its thermal waters and wellness offers. In addition, Lipik is known for its centuries-old tradition of horse breeding. Based on this long tradition and love, Lipik today has the honor of breeding new generations of noble horses - Lipizzaners. On the other hand, Toplice Topusko is a little further away, about 120 kilometers from Krapje. Topusko Spa also offers various treatments for wellness and thermal pools. If you are looking for thermal springs near Krapje, Lipik would be your closest option, while Toplice Topusko is further away, but still a possible destination to visit during the day or weekend.
