It's been fully insulated, modernized, and the interior clad in pine shiplap. It's even been trimmed out in 100+ year-old barn wood. The outside is clad with cedar siding, spaced to allow the original container to still be seen. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. LED lights inside and a super-quiet, efficient mini-split AC unit makes this a comfortable, energy efficient space. Inside there are all the modern amenities-- a smart tv with seating space, full Queen-sized bed, and a full-sized custom tiles shower. We love this space so much, and can't wait to share it with you. Our location is ideal for a getaway, just 12 minutes from the heart of Waco, yet you'll enjoy being 100% in the country. We're within walking distance to everything at Homestead Heritage—Cafe Homestead (don't miss this), Homestead coffee roasting, and Homestead Craft Village. There's so much to do, eat, learn, and see while you're here. You can park right at the house. Walk (or drive) to things at Homestead Heritage. Uber/Lyft are also available.
