This cute camp has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the lake. Water • Running water is available, but please do not drink directly from the faucets due to high iron and other contaminants. • The water is safe for bathing, washing dishes, and doing laundry. • Drinking water (new as of late summer 2025) is available from the small faucet at the kitchen sink. • You’re still welcome to bring your own drinking water if you prefer. Entertainment & Connectivity • 42" flat-screen TV with streaming. • Free WiFi. Bedrooms (Upstairs) • Bedroom 1: Queen bed, dresser, small closet with hangers. • Bedroom 2: Full bed, twin bed with pull-out trundle, dresser, small closet. • Both rooms have box fans for warm Maine evenings. Bathroom • Located off the kitchen. • Shower only (no tub). • Hairdryer provided. Kitchen & Dining • Appliances: Stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer (no dishwasher). • Coffee options: 10-cup drip coffee maker (filters provided) + Keurig (bring your own pods). • 4-slice toaster. • Basic cookware, dinnerware, utensils, and storage containers included. • A selection of basic spices provided. • Starter supplies: hand soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. • Dining: Bar top between the kitchen and living room (no separate dining table). Comfort & Heating • Propane fireplace and propane heater. • No generator, but both heat sources will continue working during power outages. Outdoor Fun • 2 single-person kayaks available under the deck. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other things to note DO NOT DIVE OFF THE DOCK!! It is very shallow. If you have a boat, use caution when navigating to and from the dock as there are several large rocks to avoid. Trash pickup is forever changing. Please take trash (and recyclables) to the old brown shed near the very top of the driveway when needed. Please keep the door latched to deter critters. Firewood is also available to the left of the trash shed at the top of the driveway coming in. We do not have a fire starter or kindling. Please use only what you need. Vicneire's is a general store located approximately. 10 min. away. There you can find a limited assortment of fresh produce, meats, dairy, frozen foods, and basic home supplies. They have gas, propane, and a little kitchen in the back for eat-in or take-out. There will likely be propane left for the grill from previous renters. However, in the case that you run out, it will be your responsibility to swap out the tank. Larger grocery stores such as Hannaford's and Walmart are about a 25 min. drive in Skowhegan.
