Welcome to La Casa de mis Sueños (House of my Dreams). Our Dream casita has all the charm you are looking for. The casita has vigas with traditional coved ceilings, adobe walls and arched doorways. Saltillo tiles cover the bathroom and kitchen. Wide plank pine floors cover the bedroom, front room, and dining room. There are lots of antique rugs that adorn the pine floor that make it bright & warm. This is truly a dream casita located in a dream location. This is my home in the winter so I have furnished it with personal items that I believe goes with the Santa Fe culture. I hope you will also enjoy them. This is an original Old Adobe Home, it is not a modern house or hotel. It is authentic to the region. The living space includes one bedroom with an en suite full bath, front room, dining room and fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, french press, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, full size refrigerator, gas stove. We also have a laundry room equipped with a full size washer and dryer. Our house features a shaded courtyard behind old adobe walls. This is our favorite spot for enjoying morning coffee or a cold beverage after a day spent exploring the world class shops and galleries that Santa Fe has to offer. The courtyard has soft landscape lighting to enjoy in the evening. It is a place to unwind from a long day and be serenaded by the crickets before you float off to your luxury bed with luxury pillows and linens. The bedroom is equipped with a luxury iCloud memory foam queen size mattress and high definition television with Direct TV service. The living room had a comfortable sofa and a reclining club chair for additional relaxing. The spacious dining room also holds the stereo receiver equipped with a Bose speaker system. It is also Bluetooth compatible, enabling guests to pair their device to play their favorite music. Local artwork adorns the walls and many of the furnishings are created by local artisans. The home has air conditioning for warmer days. Free wi-fi and parking round out the highlights. Maybe best of all is our centralized location allowing you to walk almost everywhere. The guest have access to the whole 750 and some square foot casita with exception to another bedroom and bath which is my personal space when I'm there in the winter months.. This space is locked when I leave. I won't be around to interact with my guests but if they need to contact me the best way is by texting me at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) I love that our casita is secluded behind an old adobe wall on a quiet street in a lovely old neighborhood with no thru traffic. So peaceful, relaxing and quite. To have all this and still be only minutes from wonderful restaurants, museums, and galleries is a dream. It truly is a dream home in a dream location. Walking is the best way to see the sights in downtown Santa Fe, remember it is only a ten minute walk to the plaza. We do have bus and train service. You can catch the Railrunner train located in the Railyard District which is about a 10 minute walk. There is also Uber drivers abound. If you want to see the sights outside of town your car is the best option. There is so much to see outside of the town limits. Georgia O'Keeffe's home in Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, off of hi way 84, is such a beautiful drive and Bandelier National Monument, just to name a few. Thank you for visiting our ad.
