The Loft at Water Street is located in Downtown Bellefonte in the Historic Water District. Enjoy the premium location and walk to everything you could need or want! In addition to being in a central location downtown, we are located just 9 miles from Beaver Stadium, and 3 miles from Fisherman's Paradise. Spring Creek is known for some of the highest concentrations of wild brown trout anywhere in the state. The space The Loft at Water Street is a 769 sq ft historic home in the Water District in Downtown Bellefonte. It has been completely renovated while keeping much of its charm. Enjoy the views right out the front windows of Talleyrand Park! The entrance to the front door is up a flight of stairs. Once you enter the front door, you will see the foyer. Hang your coat, and take off your shoes... you're home! As you pass through the foyer, you will enter "the Reading Room." This is a mini library with a comfortable chair to lounge in and desk if you need to do some work. From the Reading Room you can access a small bedroom. This bedroom is complete with a ceiling fan, twin daybed and twin trundle bed underneath. Each bed has a fluffy duvet and crisp white linens. The kitchen and living room are open to one another and have a shiplapped ceiling with wooden beams and two large ceiling fans. In the kitchen you will find plenty of counter space for preparing your meals, a retro style refrigerator, electric range, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans and large 30" kitchen sink. Please note we do not have a dishwasher! The living room has two big windows facing Spring Creek and Talleyrand Park. Lounge on the comfy sofa or accent chair. A Smart TV is mounted on the wall where you can access your own streaming accounts - not supplied by The Loft at Water Street. Wifi internet is available and the log in information can be found in our house manual. The primary bedroom features a Queen bed with a fluffy duvet and crisp linens, nightstands, modern wall sconces and ceiling fan. The full bathroom features a modern green tiled shower with frameless glass door, single sink vanity with brass accents and plenty of plush towels. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. We hope that you love the unique and happy touches that we have provided for you! The main entrance has a smart lock for a seamless arrival. The home has 2 parking spaces available for guests. Other things to note *Guests have full access to the entire home. *Early check in or late check out (pending availability) available as an optional enhancement only, inquire for pricing. Otherwise please respect incoming guests and our cleaning team and be prompt for check out. *Be sure to register all guests staying/present in the home. Airbnb has strict rules about added guests. The space is intended and priced for max 4 guests. *We welcome families with children of any age. However if you have babies or very young children, please note that the house does not have a crib or bassinet and has not been "child-proofed.” We are also located right on a busy road across from a body of water. *NO PETS are allowed at The Loft. *As a part of check out procedures, guests are responsible for making sure all personal belongings are collected.
