Idyllic location by forest and lake in Silkeborg

If you and your family are on vacation by the forest and lake, relaxing in a scenic area and still want to have the opportunity for a bike ride to town for an ice cream, this may be the place for you. The house is located in the middle of scenic Virklund, from where there is a view of Thorsø, 200 meters to a lovely shared private beach, 500 meters to the forest, close to shopping and sports facilities and only 5 km from the center of Silkeborg. The home is suitable for the family who wants to relax or be active in the woods and lake around Silkeborg. The space Spring, summer and late summer are clearly the best times with events in Silkeborg, the forests and lakes as a playground for activity, relaxation and outdoor life. The property is about 1100 sqm with a large garden, where there is a sandbox for the little ones and a trampoline, basketball hoop and football pitch for the young or those who are young at heart :) The house has a large back entrance attached to the laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes. From here there is access to the kitchen, garage and backyard. In the garage, mats have been laid out for physical training, where there are medicine balls, ribs, and barbells up to 140 kg. From the back entrance, you can also go into the kitchen and further into the dining room and living room, where there is plenty of light and views through the house's many doors and windows. Here is, among other things, a cabinet filled with games for the cozy evening hours or the days when the weather is wet. In the living room, there is access to the terrace to the southwest and greenhouse, access to the backyard with herb garden and clothesline and access to the front porch, where there is a small toilet and bath. In the living room there is access to a bedroom with two beds. At the far end of the living room there is a hallway to three children's rooms with respectively 2 beds in two of them, and 1 junior bed in the last room. In the children's room there are plenty of toys for girls and boys aged 3-8 years, and in the other children's rooms there is a playstation and screen as well as office space with adjustable tables. In this section is the large bathroom with bathtub and shower. The property has access to a private beach to the lake, which is 200 meters from the house (see pictures). Here there is plenty of opportunity to swim, relax or paddle a tour on Thorsø. We have an inflatable paddleboard that guests are welcome to use. Only 500 meters from the property, the forest begins with many elevations (Danish elevations) and beautiful views. 5 minutes on MTB you can ride on Denmark's longest MTB track in Vestreskoven and a short drive you are at Denmark's cleanest lake - Slåensø -, Hjejlen or Himmelbjerget. The property is also very close to shopping, multi-track and playground. We have a cat that comes and goes as it pleases. It is very accommodating and affectionate, and guests are welcome to feed it and let it in and out. There are plenty of balls and outdoor play gear so the kids can let loose. Guest access As a starting point, guests will have access to the entire house. However, the owner's bedroom is not accessible. Other things to note The place is very quiet, with neighbors of all ages.
