Hilltop Silver Lake Bungalow with Amazing Views
Hilltop Silver Lake Bungalow with Amazing Views
Description
A cozy Silver Lake hideaway, very peaceful and quiet, airy and bright. A great place to write your novel, screenplay or memoir. [Minimum Stay: 1 Month] The space This is the perfect Silver Lake hideaway, perched high on a steep street, historic and comfortable, a 1921 bungalow with West and South facing windows and a steady gentle breeze. The dining room has a large mahogany table with views out toward the Lake. The kitchen is very well stocked with a restored O'Keefe and Merritt range and a breakfast nook. Beds are comfortable and new. The master has a queen-size Saatva organic latex mattress and a smart TV with a subwoofer . The second bedroom has a twin memory foam mattress, a desk, and the best view in the house. The front porch is lovely spot to relax with your morning coffee. The garden is large and private and has a dining table, a firepit and Adirondack chairs. There is a separate laundry room with its own entrance. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire upper floor of the house, the garden and laundry room. The downstairs studio is where we store our stuff and will be off-limits. Other things to note This is the "Mixville" section of Silver Lake with crazy steep hills and hidden staircase streets (there's one right behind our house). The property was once part of Tom Mix's ranch and we dug up the horseshoe on the grounds to prove it! While we live on a very steep street, we have off-street parking for you with an EV hookup. The house has lots of solar panels on the roof. We have a cleaning person who comes twice a month and we'd like to keep her on.
