What makes the Magnolia Suite so special is it feels like you're out in the country far from the stresses of the world yet you're only 3 miles from Ole Miss and the Square. The Suite is on the 1st level of a split-level, luxury home with its own entrance (no stairs) on the east side of the house. While the owner lives on the other two levels, along w/2 dogs, the suite is totally separated by locked doors. It offers 2 BR, 1 BA, a kitchenette, central heat/air, a small dining area, and wifi. The space The master bedroom is a large, light-filled room with a king bed and HDTV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a second closet. Unlike many Airbnbs that decorate on the cheap, the Magnolia suite has quality furniture and decor, including oriental rugs and first-class touches like custom-made chocolates left by your bedside on marble night stands. Firm mattresses and black-out curtains ensure daybreak doesn't interrupt your precious sleep. In addition, there's a kitchenette (NOT a full-size kitchen) and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The bathroom offers all the niceties you'll find at a luxury hotel, along with plush, thick towels and terrycloth robes. Any other luxuries are at your beck and call. All you need to do is ask! Guest access Outside, you are welcome to picnic on the lawn, play in the yard, wander the 2.5 acre property, or hike through the woods in the daytime. In the evening, it's wonderful to sit on the patio, rock on the porch swing, and listen to the sound of crickets in the nighttime air. PLEASE NOTE that you will have to walk across the grassy lawn to get into the suite, which is on the side of the house. Also, the property is not brighly lit since it's out in the country. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: There is a 2-night minimum for certain weekends in Oxford (please inquire; host will let you know via message). The Magnolia Suite is in the perfect location. It's about 3 miles to the Square and Ole Miss and 6 miles from MTrade Park, if you're in town for the games or university events. If you're not here for sporting or university happenings and just want a relaxing getaway in our adorable and charming community, you're far enough away from the campus to not be bogged down by the influx of people and traffic.
